AAS Sound Packs: Exodus

With Exodus, his second sound pack with AAS, Canadian sound designer Michel Basque draws inspiration from a terrestrial exodus towards other worlds, exoplanets, and parallel universes. Basque was inspired by artificial intelligence, robotization, climate change, and the role humanity plays in all of this. Exodus offers a palette of sounds, sometimes simple and sometimes complex, with particular attention paid to lower frequencies, emphasizing a cinematic aesthetic. Great care went into making sure that the macro controls could be used to inject new life and dynamics into each sound. Exodus features sounds that combine organic, acoustic, and electronic sensibilities, creating atmospheres that are peaceful, ethereal, powerful, and somewhat unusual.
