Advent 2023 - Caffeine - Day 16 - Almond Brulee Oolong Tea

Welcome to Day 16 of our 2023 Caffeine Advent.   We have Austria to thank for this blend; you might be thinking, if we're in Austria, why isn't this the famous Austrian sacher torte (chocolate cake with apricot)? Well, because the last time I was in Vienna, the cafe in the central square featured some delicious looking lattes alongside an array of marizpan - so no surprise the featured drink was an almond brulee latte. The almond does give you that classic, wonderful marizpan flavor, but the vanilla brings more body and lusciousness to it.   This oolong is an absolute must for a latte; strongly brew a smaller cup and then add in foamed milk. Simply wonderful.
