Advent 2023 - Caffeine - Day 18 - Creamed Mint Black Tea

Welcome to Day 18 of our 2023 Caffeine Advent.   Don't laugh at this one, but the inspiration for this tea is... one of those simple creamed mints you used to see at weddings. My mom was a wedding cake maker and she also made those mints and I often loved them more than cake samples! When I was growing up we sometimes had them for the holidays as well, intermixed with the fudge (honestly now that I think about it, it's not really that different than a fudge). This was a really fun tea for me to make - and drink!   This is one of many blends where your preparation (steep time, milk/sugar) definitely affects the flavor profile, so feel free to mix it up.
