Bernard Millot Puligny Montrachet Les Corvées

From a parcel on the northern edge of Puligny, kitty corner adjacent to Meursault Charmes-Dessus, this wine has some of the plumpness of good Puligny village but more reminiscent of a tight, minerally Meursault. Great now but will age nicely for 7-10 years. Best value in Puligny these days. Period. Golden colored with a nose of white flowers and sweet almonds. The Tasting notes: mouth is ample and rich with wood notes and aromas of citrus fruits (lemon) that finish with freshness in mouth. Perfect with seafood dishes in rich sauce or a any lighter meat dishes with a cream sauce.
