Is there a movie always playing in your mind too? Imagine going to the best movie theater in your city to watch a movie about your dream life. That's what the planet of PLURTH is all about ... a place "Where the RAVE Never Ends". We wrote this song because we're EPIC movie fans that have always dreamed of uniting all the best dance music producers around a major motion picture production. We want to tell the story of ravers but mixed in with all the mystery, grandeur, and weirdness of human history, past, present, and future. "Popcorn" started with some very simple, but melodic piano and guitar loops that really stuck out to us with some subtle magic. We decided we definitely needed some of that special human element of imperfection. Kahu loosened up the groove with off-grid drum patterns in the right spots for the vibe and he made a slamming beat around those original loops.
