Ceramic Altar Shelf Class

Play with handbuilding in this two-part class making your very own wall altar, also sometimes called a curio shelf or shadow box. Display a collection of treasures, create an intention setting space, or light a candle to warm the season of darkness. This one is going to be a fun choose your own adventure as we guide you through designing your piece (don't worry, we'll have examples to help get the creative juices flowing!) and using slabs of clay to construct it. The second day of class will be focused on glazing bisque-fired pieces. *We'll also have suggestions for those needing to design a piece that can sit on a flat surface rather than a wall.* Saturday, Feb 7th & 14th, 1-3:00 pm All supplies and firing included, limited spaces.
