POSTPONED TILL JANUARY: DATES TBA Individuals still new to glazing, or potters only familiar with dip glazing: this workshop is for you! Join studio manager, Sam Purcell, in the Ply glazing room discussing helpful glazing habits, proper brush technique with layering, and most importantly, building a test tile library. Students will be provided with a set of bisqued test tiles to experiment with using supplied commercial glazes by Amaco. While not required, students are welcome to bring two cup-size, bisque-fired pieces to glaze as well. The second day will be a discussion on our Cone 5 firing results. Note: this is not a class on glaze chemistry, but rather application techniques.  Saturday, Dec 13th & 20th, 1:00 - 2:30pm  All supplies and firing included.
