Wheel Experience Class

Ready to try something new? This class is all about giving students a first taste of working with clay on a pottery wheel. This 4-week class will touch on the basics: wedging, throwing, trimming, and glazing. This is an important primer before jumping in to our more in-depth Wheel Basics Class. All supplies and firing included. Wednesdays, Feb 11, 18, 25, Mar 4, 5:30 pm Feb 11 & 18: Getting started wedging, centering, and pulling up walls of a cylinder. *2 hour class sessions* Feb 25: How to trim pieces on the wheel. *1 hour class session* Mar 4: Intro to glazing. *1 hour class session*
