Neocaridina are some of the most common freshwater aquarium shrimp in the hobby. These colorful and hardy shrimp come in a large variety of colorations. In a tank of one coloration they will breed true to color, and in a mixed tank they will interbreed and may produce wild colored shrimps. They do best in planted tanks, and are highly tolerant to a wide range of water parameters. Suggested Parameters: Temperature Range: 60 - 84F pH: 6.5 - 8 TDS: 200 - 300 ppm GH: 4 - 8 dGH KH: 3-15 m dKH Food: Shrimp are scavengers and are opportunistic feeders.
