Pepper, Etiuda
The Etiuda looks like a "traditional" bell pepper except that she's a little bit smaller, and a whole lot sweeter. When you let her mature, she rewards you with a vivid, bright orange coloring. Produces tons of blocky, thick-walled fruit throughout the season. The flavor is sweet like candy when fully ripe and even the under-ripe (ahem, green) is sweeter than most. Etiuda is an open pollinated variety that was developed in Poland. Generally we don't stake our bell peppers, but this variety can get a little top heavy, so we'd recommend some sort of support. Plants grow 18 - 24" in height. And, if you haven't noticed our love of purple and orange combinations in the garden, we LOVE this planted next to Purple Basil!!!
