Wild Dried Prickly Sea Cucumber from South Korea (West Sea)

Origin: South Korea Grade: Ground Characteristics: The Dried Sea Cucumber from West (South Korea) are wild caught and comparable in quality to its peers off the eastern coast. However, they are more abundant in numbers due to the warmer waters. They also tend to be bigger in size (3.5- 4.5 cm in length), rounder in shape with shorter spikes. Unique to South Korea, all sea cucumbers are carefully handpicked by "haenyeo" , traditional licensed female divers. They expand maximum can be about 7-8 times its original volume after soaking in water during preparation. On the Palate: Fleshy, soft and creamy.
