Bragg, CA on Glass beach. Mortimer is a rather rough pumice stone rock that resembles more of rugged desert mountains than the glass smoothing ocean it was pulled from. Maybe Mortimer traveled from the nearby Nevada or Arizona desert plains and ended up in the Pacific Ocean. Then he adjusted to his circumstances and developed underwater features after years spent underwater. The true definition of beautiful adaptation under new and different circumstances.
