Their maple syrup is almost as good as ours. I really enjoy their 'bacon'. They're polite. They gave us Celine, William Shatner, John Candy, and Catherine O'Hara. And they developed POUTINE! It's technically pronounced poo-tin, but most of us 'round here say poo-teen. It's derived from a French Canadian slang word that means 'mess'. This was one of our first specials almost 10 years ago, and folks still bring it up from time to time. It's a little greasy and decadent and decidedly not fancy. But it's freaking delicious. The fries above the cheese line crisp up nicely, and the cheese and gravy become one in the most beautiful, bubbly way. It's totally ridiculous, but don't let anyone shame you for enjoying something absurd every so often. Life is meant to be enjoyed. This'll help with that.
