Heaven's Gate: Soundtrack Cassette

This is the soundtrack for the ten-part documentary series that tells the story of the members of Heaven’s Gate, a religious group that incorporated Christianity and New Age spirituality, took on cult-like characteristics during its evolution over three decades, and ended tragically in 1997. The series was hosted by Glynn Washington (Snap Judgement) and created in collaboration with Pineapple Street Media. This music was composed by Casey Holford using analog and digital synthesizers, effects and samples, to underscore specific themes and characters throughout the series. Tracks range from ethereal and otherworldly to gritty and jarring.
