Keyways are used to hold hubs for wheels, brake rotors, and sprockets in place on the rear axle of nearly every kart.  Precision milled from hardened steel alloy to prevent wear or fracture, and ensure proper fitment. To choose the right key for your application, consult our diagram explaining how the dimensions of keys are denoted here, and the individual pictures of each key provided.  Available in a variety of sizes (denoted in key width x depth x length):  8mm x 5mm x 60mm "Flat Key": This key is ideal for 'old style' axles that utilize a groove in the axle, rather than a milled flat surface with peg points. These keys are notoriously more difficult to remove, and are not commonly found on modern karts. However, they are a great key solution.
