Kohiki Collection by Masa

Designed by Chef Masa (Masayoshi Takayama) Created in the Ibaraki Prefecture of Japan Made in the traditional Japanese porcelain process in which an iron-rich clay body is covered over with white slip (liquid clay mixture) and then with a transparent glaze before firing.  At specific temperatures, the white glaze engulfs the clay piece, creating an elegant texture and color.
