WARHEAD: Sour Grapes x Honey Papaya (Regs) ((Sour D F2 x Sundae Pie) x (Unknown)) Sour Grapes is truly a labor of love and community. Passed down to me from some of the original growers of Sour D in Humboldt County, CA, when I was just a freshman at HSU in 2008, the male used in the Sour Grapes cross comes from a handful of seeds that were the result of a male and female from the original mystery bag of Sour D. Crossed now famous Sundae Pie, that Sour D produced some of the most interesting and vigorous plants I have ever grown. The best phenos displayed a perfect mix of that nostalgic Sour nose, and the soft undertones of grapand vanilla from the Sundae Pie. We chose an extremely vigorous male that leaned heavily to the Sour D side. On the female side, I was lucky enough to get our hands on some of Bloom Seed Co.'s Honey Papaya (unknown genetics)- and I was thoroughly impressed. Soft melon notes and and almost sickly sweetness that was different than the candy we are so used to.
