The habitat requirements of fish change based on species, stage of life and season, and the type of habitat you’ll need varies based on the size of your fishery. To ensure your fish have sufficient cover for a healthy fish population, we recommend that 10-20% of your pond or lake’s acreage provide habitat and that it is appropriately dispersed throughout the entire water column. To take the guesswork out of the process of selecting the right habitat, we’ve created a few different packages to help you quickly reach that 10-20% goal.
