Bowl-Dwarf White Single Lotus Planting Instructions Plant lotus tuber in a small, wide, shallow, no holes container in  loam soil, keeping growth tips exposed. Add 2 inches of water over the soil and place in full sun outdoors. In a week or two, you will have coin leaves growing on the surface of the water.  DO NOT fertilize until after the aerial leaves are growing out of the water. Fertilizing too early will stunt or kill  your lotus tuber. Lotus Fertilizing Instructions Fertilize monthly during the growing/blooming season, June through September.
