Recently introduced 'Amistad' exhibits the best traits of its parents. Growing to about 3 _ - 4' tall and wide, with a nod to its S. guaranitica heritage having near black calyx and royal purple blooms. A vast improvement over S. 'Purple Majesty' by blooming for a much longer time (June till heavy frost). No border should be without.
