Old Masters Wiping Stain is a rich oil based stain for new wood, fiberglass and metal. Wiping stain can be applied to floors, doors, wood trim, furniture, and more. This product is recommended for woods like pine, birch, maple, poplar, and cherry, but it also can be applied to fiberglass, metal, and composite surfaces like Masonite. We recommend the following topcoats for this product: Water based Masters Armor or High Performance from General Finishes. Oil based Arm-R-Seal from General Finishes. This product is not designed for exterior use, but it can be used for exterior doors with a high quality topcoat like Old Masters Ascend. Product data sheet VOC Content: 250 grams/liter
