This aftermarket replacement for the Pentair® 471587 High Limit Switch is an important switch in your MiniMax® NT pool heater, and is used to detect when your water temperature has exceeded a safe level (115°F). Your MiniMax® NT heater will indicate when it is time to replace the High Limit Switch when the “SERVICE” LED is displayed. It also may be time to replace your MiniMax® NT High Limit Switch if all 3 lights on the back of the control board are on and one or both of the switches shows an open circuit (given proper water flow through the heater).
