This product has no adverse effect on the pool water chemistry.  DIRECTIONS TX-1000 removes suntan oils, lotions, body oils, solvents, grease, oil deposits in water and filters. Do not mix with any other chemicals except as indicated. FOR USE WITH MURIATIC ACID: Add one part muriatic acid to one part TX-1000 until gel is formed.
