The Thunder Robot is one of the most original and sought after tin toy robots ever made. Our large, brown bullet-shaped Thunder Robot is an exacting replica of the Japanese original by the Asakusa Toy Co. Powered by 2 D-Cells in his back, he shuffles his large feet as he attempts to move his large head forward while spinning his jet copter propeller. His eyes and red prisms feature spinning internal lights. Suddenly, he stops, raises his red hands and fires imaginary shots with red flashing palms and machine gun sounds! Then he does it again! Our Thunder Robot comes with the original box with 1950's artwork. Some small paint imperfections near battery compartment. Inside battery compartment has a crack.
