Mindeulle
During the time I painted Mindeulle, Covid-19 was running rampant. There was so much going on in the world and we were all trying our best to cope. One of my coping mechanisms is to paint it out. In time she became more of a symbol of strength for me. On and off, it took me about a year to paint her. But as time went on I felt her begging to be completed so I acquiesced. Every stroke seemed to calm and excite me at the same time. And slowly but surely she came to life. In Korean Min-deul-le means Dandelion. There is something so soft and peaceful about this horse that I couldn't help but name her after one of the coolest plants on earth. Now, here she is, waiting to come into your home and light up your world with every glance you give her. Not only will she add beauty to your home, but strength to your life.
