Torre (The Tower): The Torre district of Sienna encompasses the Jewish quarter and Synagogue. Traditionally Torre’s residents worked as wool combers. Torre is the adversary of both Onda and Oca. It is the only contrada to have two rivalries, making it the most contentious contrada in Siena. Torre’s ally is Bruco. Recognised by Consorzio per la Tutela del Palio di Siena (Consortium for the protection of Siena’s Palio – Consorzio)
