Woodsmoke Yak/Silk

I love the scene in Alice in Wonderland where the Queen of Hearts challenges Alice to a game of croquet and the mallets are flamingos. Alice's flamingo is particularly uncooperative.  *Please note that these are hand-dyed in small batches and colors may vary slightly from braid to braid. A 50/50 blend of yak and silk. Yak down can be as fine as 13 microns! It is extraordinarily soft, very warm, with a bit of elasticity. Silk adds shine, strength, and a little bit of length to your drafting zone when spinning.  Spin into a fine, warm, silky skein of fibery goodness! An amazing choice for next to the skin garments.
