Through my connection in Florence Italy, I was introduced to the team behind Herma's - they specialize in upcycling deadstock fabrics and old garments into new designs - but with focus on the classics lifestyle - activity - garments - piloting, hunting, fishing, motorcycling, etc This Field Jacket is inspired but the classic Barbour Jacket using deadstock Swiss Army Blanket Fabrics. With a few tweaks this amazing wool super warm jacket was born. FIELD JACKET: We really love the overall look of this Jacket. Nothing really new here aesthetically speaks but the little tweaks, with the oversized front hip pockets, the color combo of the fabric - deep olive and the red stripe - and positioning the blanket batch serial number as part of the Pocket and the centered Swiss Cross in the back - absolute perfection!!!!   .
