Beautifully engraved with swags and tendrils of delicate flowers, leaves, and berries, each piece was made individually by hand. Each could require more than twenty artisans to see a piece through its journey to completion: from preparing a wooden mold, mixing and melting the batch of glass ingredients, blowing the molten glass, grinding, rinsing, copper wheel engraving decoration, polishing, painting, and burning off gold detailing before firing.
