Poster features white text on blue background in Spanish, reading "DEMOCRATS / VOTE FOR THE FUTURE OF YOUR CHILDREN / VOTE FOR / MONDALE / FERRARO / THE 6TH OF NOVEMBER / VOTE FOR ALL DEMOCRATS". Union bug present in bottom right. Mondale was a former vice president (under president Jimmy Carter) and Minnesota senator, while Ferraro had currently been serving in the United States House of Representatives (1979-1985). Had Mondale won the presidential election, Ferraro would have been the first female vice president of the United States.
