"Lecture, Willem Sandberg - an introduction / September 25, 1969" This lecture by Willem Sandberg took place at Harvard University's Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts. Sandberg was a Dutch typographer, museum curator, and member of the Dutch resistance during World War II. This poster takes inspiration from Sandberg's work. While his legacy is not well-known today, he was known for enlisting his colleagues and using his design skills to create false documents, allowing Jews safe passage out of The Netherlands.
