Trent Parke Magnum Photos Poster

Photographer Trent Parke captured this image of a man standing in the rain with his tie draped over his shoulder in Sydney, Australia in 1998. Founded in 1947, Magnum Photos celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2007 by offering a traveling exhibition entitled 'Magnum on display: 60 years, 60 kiosks.' The piece was one of several exhibited photographs from 20 famous photographers, such as Raymond Depardon, Abbas, Richard Kalvar, Guy Le Querrec, Jonas Bendiksen, and Martin Parr, amongst others. These photos replaced the traditional magazine covers in the windows of kiosks, allowing Parisians and visitors to stroll leisurely through the streets.
