World's Fair (Red)Government Building - Matted 8x10

This Matted note card features a striking image by Pursell of the Chicago World's Fair features the Government Building. Pursell (1906-1974) was born in Tennessee and studied at the Art Institute of Chicago. He worked as an illustrator for Life & Esquire & designed posters for American Airlines, Coca Cola as well as 5 different 1933/34 World's Fair posters. All Poster Plus Publications double matted with a tasteful antique white outer mat and a gold fillet.    Overall matte size is 8”x10” (5" x 7" image with approx. 2 inches around) This item is not framed.
