Broken Bats: Posterized 13x19" Paper Print

I used this Bo Jackson piece as an opportunity to get reacquainted with various 3D software packages, something I hadn't done since college. What resulted was a 3D sculpture that was inspired by a series of sketches I did after researching some of the classic bat breaking moments. I then used the lit and rendered sculpture as reference for the eventual final painting. These prints are produced on 13x19" paper stock, and coated with a UV finish. Prints are signed, numbered, and shipped in a 3" diameter tube ($5 s/h). I did something a little different for this Bo piece. I created a (rough) 3D sculpture to use as a maquette, which I lit and rendered. It became the figure reference for the painting.
