Mishima is a fundamental inlay surface decorating method in ceramics. We highly suggest taking this 3-hour beginners friendly workshop if you're interested in adding a core surface design technique to your pottery toolbelt.  This class will be taught by Christina Erives. Christina's art revolves around mishima and reflects a true mastery of the technique. To see a great example of the technique, look no further than her work. In our opinion there is nobody better to learn this technique from! Christina will give a beginners friendly lesson on how to make your own tile or tray, and then teach you the mishima method to decorate your piece with. You'll finish a piece and walk away with a new skill you can apply in infinite ways. For ages 13+. No experience required. All materials, firing and glazing included. BYOB. Hosted at POT Gardens: 3228 W. Jefferson Blvd, 90018 Payment plans available at checkout
