Queer Throwing

This is a one-time, 2-hour introductory wheel throwing class with Manu Garcia, intended for the Queer Community. No experience required!  Manu Garcia (Manu Del Mar Ceramics) is a LA-based teaching artist who believes in the active learning approach to teaching. Their work focuses on storytelling about their current surroundings and past experiences.  Ages 21+ All materials included Includes keeping a piece BYOB & 420-friendly This class has bilingual access: It is taught in English, but Manu is a native Spanish speaker and can teach in Spanish too. These workshops are intended to be a safe space for ALL queer identifying folks. We do not condone gatekeeping or policing of identities.
