This workshop is part of POT's mission to preserve culture through craft. Join us for Tatreez, a one-day beginners embroidery workshop on the traditional Palestinian hand embroidery craft. Learn the history of tatreez, its cultural importance, and the fundamentals of the craft as you stitch a pattern created specifically for the workshop. Jenna Aliya Hanson is a Palestinian textile artist and educator based in Los Angeles, and descendant of Nakba survivors. She connects with her heritage by practicing and teaching the art of tatreez.
