Level Up in Sculptural Handbuilding

This 10-week class is for those who are looking to hone their skills into a specific handbuilding style. Building on a knowledge of the basics, we will go over how to make larger and/or more intricate handbuilding projects using the techniques of slab, coil, and pinch. By the end of class, each student should have their own project and preferred building style. I like to teach by leading with instruction, but then letting each student explore their own creativity. Each of you will be guided and encouraged to explore your own personal styles as we move through the more advanced forms. Individuality is highly encouraged! The final class will be dedicated to a fun gathering and potluck where students will discuss their works with each other and talk about what they’ve learned. This is a Next-Level class.
