Cleopatra Records+1 Much of the material stems from 2013 sessions at Hits on Da Roof Studio in Kingston, revisiting themes and rhythms from his early 1980s heyday through a contemporary studio setup. AllMusic Yellowman, born Winston Foster in Negril and raised through Kingston’s Alpha Boys School, turned the stigma around albinism into the “King Yellowman” persona, becoming a foundational influence on modern dancehall and later sampling culture.
