Amace Plateau
The Amace is a limited-edition design created by refugee artisans in honor of World Refugee Day. Pacifique N. and her group named their design 'Amace' which means 'Mother's Part' in Kinyarwanda. Pacifique is based in the Kigeme Refugee Camp and a member of the Igisubizo or IGZ Cooperative. Their cooperative name means 'solutions', as that is what they hope to be for their community. In 2023 she joined an interactive design workshop and brought her vision to life.
