  Description DGL means deglycrrhized licorice.  Licorice (called Yastimadhu in Sanskrit).  The glycyrrhin has been removed from the licorice because it can cause Sodium retention and increase blood pressure.  We use DGL a lot to neutralize acidic toxins (Ama Visha) in the blood and liver.  It is unique because it can open then channels without heating.
