Known for its solid yields and uniform fruit, this variety produces smooth, round tomatoes weighing 10–14 oz with firm flesh and good crack resistance. With its compact growth habit, Cannonball is an excellent choice for space-limited gardens and containers. The dense, meaty texture makes it especially well suited for canning, sauces, and preserving, while its balanced tomato flavor also works well fresh. This variety is offered as part of our Bryce Farnsworth Collection. Bryce carefully maintained seed stocks of NDSU cultivars—many no longer commercially available—and entrusted those seeds to us.
