Organic German Chamomile Essential Oil

German chamomile is a star among the medicinal plant species. Its use traces back to ancient times as an embalming oil and cure for fevers by the Egyptians. It was also a medicinal herb and used in drinks and incense by the Romans, and was a treatment prescribed by the Greek physician Dioscorides. It is surrounded by lore – the Anglo-Saxons believed it one of nine sacred herbs given to humankind by the Gods, and the Egyptians associated it with the sun god Ra.
