This Unique Mala of Enlightenment is made of Rosewood beads, glass/crystal separators, metal caps, Clay Meru Bead with a beautifully hand crafted turkoman Antique Tassel. This is a one of a kind Mala, made with love in the flow of a creative process just like all the other Prancing Leopard Malas. A Mala is a string of 18, 27, 54 but typically 108 beads and a larger bead as the summit (Meru, Sumeru) with a Tassel which may symbolize all the good stuff like enlightenment and lotus blossom. It is a tool to help one’s mind focus on meditation to keep count of chanting, reciting or mentally repeating a mantra, which is called Japa. Japa (or japam) means repeating or remembering a mantra (or mantram), and ajapa-japa (or ajapajapam) means constant awareness of the mantra, or of what it represents. ... In other words, it has begun to come naturally, turning into a constant awareness. (Wikipedia) The numbe
