.257 Roberts Standard Rifle - 1956

This is a standard rifle chambered in .257 Roberts, produced in 1956. The rifle retains the original factory finishes and has no added holes or other modifications. It grades in NRA very good condition. The bolt and receiver are both marked with serial number 384478. The stock is original in all respects with some handling wear but no significant cracks, gouges, splits, or repairs. It retains its original steel butt plate, which has some bluing wear. The checkering is in very good condition with light wear. The original bluing is in excellent condition. The receiver bluing has light edge wear, the bolt components have light wear, and the bottom metal has some light shallow scratches and some fading. The are no notable dings, pitting, or deep scratches in the metal.  The bore of the 24" barrel has some light wear in the throat, and no pitting, resulting in a rating of 9 out of 10.
