.30-06 Springfield Featherweight Rifle - 1962

Show up at hunting camp this year with something that stands out from the crowd. This is a very nice .30-06 Featherweight rifle, produced in 1962, topped with a Nikon 3-9x40mm scope in Leupold mounts.  It grades in NRA excellent condition.  The original bluing grades at 95% and is in excellent condition with just slight edge wear and no rubs, pits or other noteworthy blemishes. The bore of the 22" barrel is bright with strong rifling. A borescope inspection shows a bore that grades at 9/10, with no pits, no erosion and no heat damage. The stock is a beautiful piece of nicely grained American walnut and a factory Winchester recoil pad.  The stock finish has been nicely restored and shows no damage or evidence of use.  The wood is perfect with no handling marks, gouges cracks, oil stains or other problems.
