Protective Lip Balm

The Protective Lip Balm contains numerous waxes and oils, specifically Jojoba Oil, that help soften and protect lips from drying and cracking. There are anti-oxidants in the formulation to protect lips from UV damage. It contains menthol that helps sooth sore lips exposed to harsh environmental elements.  The menthol works with Peppermint Essential Oil to create a cool sensation, whether the balm is used in hot or cold temperatures.  The product also contains L-Lysine which is an amino acid known to help prevent cold sore breakouts.  *While Precious Mineralz has not conducted studies to show that the product is effective in decreasing cold sore break outs, beta testers have reported less breakouts when they used this product.  Our future plans include a clinical study to develop a claim, but right now we believe that the balm provides an effective coating on the lips that prevents cracks that might cause a cold sore break out.
