Shooting Reconstruction Kit
This kit combines the hands on techniques of crime scene analysis with mathematical calculations to reconstruct shooting scenes. The use of actual techniques currently employed in crime laboratories is once again showcased in this educational kit designed by Precision Forensic Testing. The kit includes real world samples such as the shotgun shot pattern. Students will use this in a laboratory exercise where they calculate the angle of the shot. Additionally, they will use supplemental shot patterns included on the CD for determining the distance. Other topics covered in the PowerPoint lecture and exercises include; angle calculation, angle measurement, distance determination based on angles, and glass fracture patterns. One kit will easily serve 15 students (based on students working in sets of 3). An additional trajectory tools kit is available for purchase separately which includes and additional: 3 Aluminum Trajectory Rods 3 Zero Edge Protractors 3 Levels 1 Angle Finder 1 Tap
