Find leaks fast with the LD-15 Leak Detector The LD-15 is a an acoustic listening device for identifying and pinpointing water leaks. It is built with an extremely sensitive piezoelectric microphone attached to an amplifier with noise filter capabilities.  Identify the leaking pipeline The microphone has attachment points for contact rods and magnets. These can be used to make a direct attachment to pipelines at valves, hydrants, and exposed pipe walls. Using these attachments, operators can identify which lines on a system have leaks. Pinpoint the exact leak location Once the leaking pipelines have been identified, the microphone attachments can be removed. The microphone can then be moved along the ground surface above the leaking pipe, listening to the sound of the leak.
