Inspect mid-sized pipes with the IC-28 Sewer Camera. The IC-28 Sewer Camera System is Subsurface Instruments’ drain inspection system for mid-to-large-sized pipes. Featuring a 1 and 1/8-inch (28mm) diameter camera head and a 196-foot (60m) cable wheel wire length, this system allows the operator to take photos and videos of mid-to-large-sized pipes and conduits while searching for leaks, breaks, and blockages. The kit is equipped with 2 skids sized up to 3.54 inches in diameter, so you can inspect pipelines up to 4 inches in diameter and the camera head has a 512 Hz Sonde so you can find the exact location of the camera in a pipeline. The IC-28 sewer camera video screen and control box The monitor is 7 inches across, meaning you will have plenty of resolution and detail to know what you are looking at. Set into the lid of the hard plastic carry case, the screen is protected and provides an instant workstation whenever you open the box. The monitor has picture snap and movie record functions and the images can be saved to an HD card. The IC-28 is equipped with a lithium-ion rechargeable battery that has a 4+ hour life meaning you can be sure to get the job done without having to recharge. The IC-28 Sewer Camera Head and 512 Hz Sonde The camera head is lit by 12 LEDs and the camera enclosure is stainless steel. The head is self-leveling and equipped with a 512 Hz sonde giving the user the capability of finding the location of the camera with a Pipe and Cable Locator (not included: see our product listings). The head is rated to IP68 certification which means it is dustproof, dirtproof and waterproof to 250 feet. A skid can be connected to the head which protects the camera and improves visibility. With a 120º view angle and high-quality video, the camera will provide sharp images to the 7-inch video monitor. The IC-28 sewer camera cable reel The reel is carried on its own stand and is equipped with a digital meter counter to let you know just how far your camera is from the cable reel. At 196 feet long, but only 0.28in in diameter, you will be able to reach any part of a plumbing system.
